“I AFFIRM MY LIGHT”

“i affirm my light” is a testimony to re-discovering my own light after experiencing a series of emotional cycles in 2022.
i’ve been dreaming of a rainbow wall in my studio since i first moved in october 2022. i allowed the vision to flow out of me while bored in my studio in december 2022.
affirmations are funny because internally you already “know” you, but when you’re really in your feels, they hit DIFFERENT. they catch you off guard like “oh yeah, you’re right — I AM power-full. how could i have forgotten that?” but here’s the thing, i don’t want to forget it anymore.
i want to always acknowledge & affirm my light no matter what. i’m the one living this life, operating this body, and the captain of this internal ship — no one else.
“i am living proof of god’s wonders” and that “i am free”, “ever-evolving”, “brave”, “light”, “power-full”, “divine”, “whole” and “worthy of all good things” while “removing blockages that keep me from moving forward” from “freeing my mind”, “letting my work be seen”, and “reclaiming my royalty”.
“i see me” and “i shine bright” and “i am where i’m supposed to be” even though “i am not perfect and that’s okay” because “i forgive myself for everything” and that “i could care less” about “people’s judgements and fears” because they are “none of my business.”
i know now that “healing is sexy to me and my soul” and “my creative voice is unique” and “i deserve to get paid what i deserve” because my art speaks volume” — “i love my shadow.” i will not let the noise of others get to me because “critics are lames who care about being impressed” and that “i am” just here to live because “i love.” yes i love “love” because “love of self is the basic responsibility and joy” to the human soul.
