I painted St. Michael on his feast day. Not because the Church told me to, but because my angels walk this life path with me and they are not bound by any building. They never were. St. Michael is God's warrior. He protects the righteous. He casts out what prowls.
This is the Red threshold: the right to exist, the body defended, the protection that shows up when your flesh can't take the spiritual attacks anymore.
When you need him, call on him:
"St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil."
